Junior Studio Mini Project

DESIGN BRIEF:

• Create furniture made entirely of cardboard.

TOOLS & MATERIALS:

• 3/4” cardboard, 1/8” cardstock, Fusion360, laser cutting, Blender 3D, Adobe creative suite.

PROJECT SUMMARY:

• The Helix Stool takes inspiration from the rotational symmetry seen in nature and served as an early exploration of 3D form creation using laser-cut identical stacking pieces from 2D shapes, laying the foundation for the Bioloft collection.
